Pat’s focus is to ensure project development is undertaken to enable development to seamlessly transition into operations.
A mechanical engineer with more than 30 years in the industry, Pat’s deep operational experience includes being appointed General Manager for BHP’s Whaleback and Eastern Ridge iron ore mines in 2012. In this capacity, he initiated BHP’s Innovation Centre, their flagship transformation initiative, that ultimately accelerated the deployment of breakthrough technologies to improve safety and ways of working globally.
Throughout Pat’s career safety has always been paramount, and his demonstrated approach to safety has resulted in substantial safety improvement.
