Damien heads up a significant portfolio at HanRoy that is critical to the success of Hancock Prospecting’s diversified business interests.
He has a broad range of experience and expertise, having worked in both government and the private sector, including the past 15 years on some of Western Australia’s largest and most ambitious resources and infrastructure projects. This includes the successful development of the $10 billion Roy Hill iron ore operation, where he oversaw environment, government, and Indigenous affairs matters for lead EPC provider Samsung C&T.
Prior to joining Hancock, Damien guided key approvals for the Oakajee deep-water port and integrated rail network in WA’s mid-west, Citic Pacific’s Sino Iron project, and a major magnetite project for another iron ore company.
